Just because i have Setanta Sports, it doesn't mean that im prepared to waste my time and eyesight watching that bunch of overhyped and overpaid premadonnas attempting to play football for their national team while trying not to make it too obvious that they couldn't care less about playing for their national team.

Heaven forbid that playing for their country should get in the way of more important things. Things such as the premier league, photo shoots, driving around in flash cars, the champions league, doing interviews for celeb magazines, boozing, exotic holidays, roasting, running record labels and WAGs.

The vast majority of them should be ashamed of themselves! Its not about football anymore. And the fact that the FA have held the fans in such low regard with this Setanta deal just goes to prove that!

And dont get me started on Joey Barton. Hasnt an NFL quarterback recently had a life ban imposed on him by the NFL for getting on the wrong side of the law.

Well, England can expect what it wants as Neil expects to be watching something else. Something better and more entertaining than 11 premadonnas half heartedly playing football whilst trying not to get injured (as their club managers will have no doubt told them).

Enjoyed it though. Last weekend got suitably drunk in the name of one of my friends 32nd birthdays and then the mandatory bank holiday monday super sesh! 8 hours in the pub - OUCH!!!

Rest of the week was equally as good, just in a different way. Spent a fair bit of money on clothes. It needed doing as quite a few of mine were looking worse for wear. Ive had a few new pairs of jeans, a new shirt, some new shoes and a very nice new coat. Really happy with my haul, although i wont be happy when i see my next bank balance - but sod it!

Watching Aston Villa v Liverpool at the moment, hope Liverpool win. And then later on tonight theres the Detroit IndyCar race to watch. Theres also NASCAR but thats on too late for me, so ill Sky+ that.
